User Stories for an Enterprise CMS
Here are a few user stories with acceptance criteria for an enterprise content management system:
- As a content administrator, I want to be able to manage multiple websites from a single platform so that I can streamline my workflow and reduce the risk of errors.
- Acceptance criteria:
- The user should be able to access a dashboard that displays all of the websites they are responsible for managing.
- The user should be able to create new websites, edit existing websites, and delete websites.
- The user should be able to manage content, users, and permissions for each website separately.
- The user should be able to view analytics and generate reports for each website.
- As a content author, I want to be able to collaborate with other team members on content creation so that we can work more efficiently and produce higher-quality content.
- Acceptance criteria:
- The user should be able to invite other team members to collaborate on a piece of content.
- The user should be able to assign roles and permissions to team members, such as editor, reviewer, or approver.
- The user should be able to track changes and comments made by team members in real-time.
- The user should be able to leave feedback and suggest edits to other team members.
- As a content strategist, I want to be able to plan and schedule content in advance so that I can maintain a consistent publishing schedule and stay ahead of deadlines.
- Acceptance criteria:
- The user should be able to access a content calendar that displays upcoming content and deadlines.
- The user should be able to create and schedule new content in advance, including blog posts, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- The user should be able to set reminders and notifications for upcoming deadlines.
- The user should be able to track the performance of published content and make data-driven decisions about future content planning.
- As an IT administrator, I want to be able to ensure the security and reliability of the CMS so that I can protect sensitive information and minimize downtime.
- Acceptance criteria:
- The CMS should be hosted on a secure and reliable server with regular backups.
- The user should be able to set up two-factor authentication and other security measures to protect user accounts and data.
- The user should be able to monitor the CMS for errors and performance issues, and receive alerts if anything goes wrong.
- The user should be able to customize the CMS to meet the organization's specific security and compliance requirements.
